Our Foundation

Our History

The Beginning of the Ministry

The church began out of God's quest to raise a man who would correct the atrocities and heresies plotted by false ministers of God (1 John 4:1). As a result, He raised Prophet Odedoyin Olawumi Ezekiel with His supernatural and unchallengeable power.

After initial struggles with accepting the divine call, the ministry began as a fellowship meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays in Modakeke, Osun State, Nigeria. This fellowship quickly turned into an everyday program as a result of experiencing remarkable signs and wonders:

The dead were raised up

The blind regained sight

Kidney disease was healed

The insane were made whole

The barren became mothers

The lame walked

The deaf could hear

All these miracles happened at the mountain opposite CAN building Aranse Olu area, Modakeke. Prophet Ezekiel loved evangelism and winning souls for Christ so much that at times he spent his money meant for food and house rent for ministration.

Divine Instruction & The Birth of the Church

God instructed Prophet Ezekiel that to carry out his assigned duties, he must walk in a way that would meet God's standard. He was given specific doctrines and commandments for the church, including praying only in the name of Jesus Christ.

In November 2017, after divine confirmation, the first Sunday service was started by Mr. Tunde Edward Adegoke (now a pastor) together with two other people. The following Sunday, God had prepared many people who were expecting the church, including Mr. Ayobami Taiwo (now a pastor). The church grew rapidly from these humble beginnings with eighteen people attending the first official Sunday service.

Subsequently, many pastors joined the ministry including Fawale Toba, Opayemi Isaiah, Temitayo Ajewole, Akinade Julius and many more.

Persecution & God's Deliverance

As the church became popular for preaching the undiluted true message of Christ, it faced significant challenges and persecution from various groups including Christian Association of Nigeria members in Modakeke, traditional worshippers, and Islamic religious leaders.

However, God stood by His words and His church. Many antagonists of this ministry fell sick, and some died untimely—including the head of hunters in Modakeke, "Olu Ode of Modakeke."

Expansion & Global Impact

The church later moved to its own acquired land at Akala Ground off Toro Road, Modakeke. The ministry expanded through mobile evangelism in various cities where various signs and wonders were recorded.

The fellowship experienced exponential growth with many more youths, women and men who came to experience and thirst for the raw power of God. This led to the formation of the Church spreading throughout Osun State, other states in Nigeria, and abroad.

Today, God of White Calling For All Souls Ministries (GOWCFASM) has become a global network of churches with congregations in Nigeria and abroad, continuing the mission of preaching the undiluted word of God.
